By joining The Panel and participating in our surveys you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions on this website.

Prizes
Chances to win various prizes are offered to every person who completes a survey, that they have been invited to take part in by invitation email, by the closing time specified in the invitation email. (Survey Respondent)

An important element of each prize offer is that if a Survey Respondent is drawn as a winner of any prize, their membership details must be correct and up to date at the time of the draw as shown in their log in area at www.buzzthepeople.co.nz.

Buzz reserves the right to ask the Survey Respondent to confirm their details at the time they are contacted as a prize winner and if these details are not correct and up to date, the Survey Respondent forfeits any rights they have to their prize.

Buzz offers four different types of prize draws.

Type 1 - Survey Prizes:
For some surveys we will randomly select a specified number of Survey Respondents who will win a prize or prize voucher. This is detailed at the beginning of any survey which is offering prizes or prize vouchers.

Type 2 - Monthly Prizes:
In the first week of each month randomly selected Survey Respondents are drawn from all the surveys that were completed in the preceding month and will win the Monthly Prize(s). Monthly Prizes will differ from month to month and the details of each prize will be clearly communicated on this website. Every time a Survey Respondent completes a survey within a month, they get one entry in that month's monthly draw. Monthly prizes may vary in number, value and type.

Type 3 - New Panel Membership Prizes:
Buzz may offer prize draws entries to people who join up to The Panel in a specified period. These prizes will vary in nature and value and details will be clearly specified in any promotional activity and on www.buzzthepeople.co.nz. Only people who are signing up to The Panel for the first time are eligible to go into the draw for a New Panel Membership Prize. If Buzz establishes that a person drawn as a winner has been or already is a member of the The Panel, the prize is instantly forfeit and a new winner will be drawn.

General Terms and Conditions that apply to all buzzthepeople prize draws
Survey Respondents will be entered into the draw for that survey if any is offered, plus get one entry into the Monthly prize draws.

All draws will take place within one week of the close of the survey month, and the winner(s) will be notified using the email address provided when they signed up to The Panel (or any subsequent email address provided by the panel member via the log in process at www.buzzthepeople.co.nz.

Winners have two working weeks to respond to Buzz to confirm that they wish to accept the prize and to provide their delivery details. If a winner does not respond within two weeks, their prize is automatically forfeited and a second prize winner will be drawn. The same rule applies for any second or subsequent winner drawn.

Buzzthepeople will not enter any dialogue with anyone who has not responded within two weeks, no matter what the reason for any delay, including but not limited to if the persons email is not working, has changed or if they are not clearing their email for some reason etc.

The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize is as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Buzzthepeople is not liable for any costs, expenses or liability incurred by the prize winner with respect to the prize.

Completion of any survey for which a prize is offered is acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Donations to groups, schools, clubs, and charities
If you nominate that the contribution generated by your completion of a survey should go to a group, school, club, or charity, this cannot be treated as a donation for tax purposes.

Shopping Vouchers
If you nominate that the contribution generated by your completion of a Research survey should go towards a shopping voucher of your choice the following terms apply:

Each time you complete a Research Survey for us we'll credit your Voucher Reward Total with the number of points (called BeePoints) that we have offered in the invitation email for the completion of that survey.

No BeePoints are offered for participation in Have Your Say surveys and these surveys will be clearly communicated when the survey invitation is emailed to you.

When your Voucher Reward Total reaches 2000 or more BeePoints you can click on the 'Request Voucher' area in your membership area to request us to send you a voucher from the Buzz voucher list. When you do this we will ask for your current postal address and this address will only be used to mail you your Voucher.

Vouchers will only be issued in multiples of $20 so we'll reset your Voucher Reward Total by the equivalent BeePoints value of the amount of the voucher or vouchers issued to you. This may leave you with a remaining Voucher Reward Total.

Vouchers will be mailed to you within 28 days of Buzz receiving your request.

Buzzthepeople reserves the right to vary the value of BeePoints and the number of BeePoints offered for any Research Survey.

At any time prior to you requesting your voucher, you may log in to your membership are and transfer the amount in your Voucher Rewards Total to a Buzz Charity or nominated school.

In the General Terms and Conditions of buzzthepeople membership, Buzz reserves the right to cancel your membership at our discretion. If this occurs, the amount in your Voucher Rewards Total may be voided or transferred to a Buzz charity at our discretion.
